We originally switched to GoTo Connect from another phone system because they include soft phones (phone app) for free. Our previous company charged us extra if we wanted the soft phones. Since the pandemic our team entirely uses the GoTo Connect app and have all stopped using the desk phones that were originally provided to us.
  • The mobile app works well

  • We love that we can customize our ringtones and hold music
  • It seems that they haven't fully transitioned away from Jive because the PBX sometimes loads the Jive version and other times loads the GoTo Connect version. I think I like the GoTo Connect version better but I can never figure out what the URL is for that version
For employees who do a lot of phone calls this has been helpful so that they can keep their work calls separate from personal calls.

We have been using GoTo since it was Jive, and we advise all of our clients to use it when they need to upgrade from an antiquated phone system to a contemporary VOIP system. They know a great deal about the things they sell. They helped me discover a solution or pointed me in the correct path even when there was no difficulty.I can use my cell phone to make and receive calls thanks to the system. I can use my cell phone as an extension of my school phone thanks to Go To. Anywhere I have cell service, I may use the all-call system to send and receive pages, answer and make calls, and leave voicemails.

GoToConnect is a powerful platform for correspondence. The user interface is straightforward, and installing the majority of clients only requires a small amount of preparation. GoTo Connect's high-quality calls and recording feature make it an excellent choice for offering customer care over the phone.

We use GoTo Connect for our VOIP phone system and are very pleased with the voice quality, reliability, cost and service. My business partner and I use GoTo Connect for remote access of our office computers, which is also a good value, very reliable and exceptionally fast (data rate fast).

In terms of notification, we face issues, otherwise this is great platform in terms of the communication, call, automation etc.

I use this to join and host business meetings or training sessions. This can be with other members of staff or new employees sometimes with staff from other companies. This allows me to have safe and easy to use virtual conversations from the comfort of my home or local office which relaying on everyone else to spend on travel for on site meetings

Before using GoTo Connect, our communication infrastructure was haphazard. We tried and used traditional phone lines and individual video conferencing tools which was quite inefficient and frustrating. We are a team with a remote workforce spread across different time zones, we still rely a lot on GoTo Connect to collaborate and manage our communication needs. GoTo Connect is a comprehensive solution and has reduced to a large extent the need for expensive on-premise phone systems and recurring IT maintenance costs.
  • GoTo Connect is a much more cost-effective solution rather than separate phone lines and video conferencing tools.
  • I conduct daily team meetings and project brainstorming sessions using video conferencing using GoTo Connect.
  • It integrates smoothly with our regularly used tools like Google Drive and has become very easy to share the documents we use.
  • They need to make sure the desktop and mobile apps have the same features and functionalities and offer a consistent UX because the experience on the desktop app and mobile app differs a lot.
  • It's definitely a reliable tool but calls sometimes experience audio dropouts and technical glitches, which disrupt meetings and conferences in progress.
  • The reporting system is basic and needs much improvement as it doesn't offer detailed insights and exporting data from the reporting system is a bit challenging at times.
We have locations all over the world. We need a phone and meetings solution that is scalable and secure and at the same time, it should be reliable and cost-effective. GoTo Connect is a good option for us as it's a relatively affordable solution with all the relevant advanced features (especially features like cloud PBX and video conferencing) our business requires. However, it's not a one-size-fits-all solution, especially for those with specific integration requirements and concerns about tech complexity.

GoTo Connect has been very great as a video conferencing solution that allows for easy communication and collaboration via chats and meetings – especially in a remote environment. Furthermore, it has had recent updates, which has improved its overall functionality. With its recent updates, it has also helped with syncing calls, on my mobile, to calls on my PC, which is a plus as I am always on the go.

Scheduling and coordinating meetings; has been effective for 100+ people so far. We needed to update and modernize our exiting phone system which was antiquated and didn't provide any modern functions. We needed a system that worked for a staff that was more dispersed and not at their desks much of the time.

  • They are trying to create an all-in-one app, but they are doing this by purchasing other apps and trying to integrate them rather than building it them themselves. This leads to a less than ideal experience.
We are a simple organization and if you need to modernize an old phone system and need something fairly simple this will definitely work. However, much of the functionality seems to be geared towards bigger organizations with call center functionality. While the application has been better than what we had, there has been frustration form users over little things that seem to be missing for the individual user while many of the updates seem to focus on things useful for bigger organizations. One of the issues I have is that GOTO doesn't seem to to address some of the simple needs. They seemed focused on expanding the software rather than fixing some simple, outstanding issues that impact quality of life and make it frustrating for users. That makes it harder to recommend.

It helps our team easily switch between phones or mobile apps to stay connected to other devices as needed! The admin portal is also very beneficial and easy to use. The HD capabilities are an added plus.

I use GoTo Connect to talk to our customers on a daily basis. We receive calls and make calls during our day. We help customers with their accounts and general course information. I use the call queue on a daily basis as well as make inter-company calls.
  • The queue is great!
  • Dialing out is easy!
  • Transfers are seamless.
  • The status update on our account that shows us as available or away does not work. It will not keep our phones ringing if we are away or offline.
  • When outside calls come in, we are not able to see their phone number within the caller ID. This would be helpful in finding customer accounts much faster.
  • Connection on the desktop site is not as stable as using the phone app but the desktop version is much easier to use.
I love GoTo Connect and using it on my browser makes it easy to place and receive calls. The only reason I won't give it a ten is that the connection is unstable even when using high-speed wi-fi. The phone app just doesn't load as well but the connection is much better. The only thing I would like to change is to be able to make ourselves not available while logged in a queue. If we need to step away for a moment, we have to log out of each queue we're logged into, otherwise our phone rings and rings.

We use GoTo Connect for our remote workforce along with on-premises users who would rather use their computers instead of a physical phone. There are also a number of users who use the app on their mobile devices to stay in contact with clients and co-workers. It is assisting us in keeping lines of communication open and aids in team collaboration.

We have a few remote workers that work on different days that answer phone calls for our office, and the phone mapping, as well as scheduling options, make it so easy to set things up and forget about it! We also had an easy time setting up a phone tree that helped direct callers to the correct person for their specific needs within our office.

GoTo Connect is the phone system we use for all employees here at our company. We have phone sets throughout the office and some of our remote employees have phone sets at their home offices as well. We also have the option of using the app on the smartphone which works quite well. This was useful during the start of the pandemic when our office was closed. We also receive voicemails to email via mp3 which is an improvement over our last phone system which was just an analog handset connected to a landline.

We use GoTo Connect (GTC) for communication with our customers. During covid and lockdown rules, we had to work from home. GTC helped us be in touch with our valuable customers as we could make and receive calls through GTC app. We pretty much depended on GTC and use it every day!

Go To Connect was one of many meeting services we used in my client services role. We would use Microsoft terms internally but we found the best webinar software for our needs was GoTo Connect. It was easy to use, intuitive and solved a problem it took a while for our team to solve. We loved the recording feature that we could send our recorded webinars out to after the meeting. We could host ample users in our meetings and there were great presenter features that allowed us to mute all users, engage during the call and more. We loved this piece of software and I was always happy with the services it provided.

GoTo Meeting was not suitable for Internal meetings where you just needed a quick connect with your team.

The reason we bought GoTo Meeting in the first place as it was the best tool for hosting webinars with our clients. Each Account Manager had 60 accounts and instead of hosting 60 induvial meetings, we would host webinars and office hours with GoTo meet so we could share the recordings and it has great presenter mode.

Previously, I had an aging Cisco SIP solution. There were times when I had hardware failures. My users were without service until the repair part(s) arrived the next day. With GoTo Connect, I have zero issues with hardware. The GoTo Connect team takes care of hard repairs and upgrades and I enjoy a solid cloud-based phone system. When I have users traveling, the mobile app allows the remote users to make and receive calls just like they were in the office. Meetings are a breeze as well. I have dedicated numbers for conference calling.

Any organization that has multiple users could benefit from GoTo Connect. Subscription pricing is straight forward and budget friendly. Small organization that normally rely on mobile phones probably would be better off avoiding GoTo Connect. Organizations with large numbers of employees might find a solution that is more budget friendly.

Soft Phone. We were able to move our operations remotely due to the softphone capabilities and ability to do warm transfers. We are also able to use GoTo Meeting for meetings. However, the only downside to the meeting is that participant has to download the app on their side to use it. It should give an online option so participant should not have to download anything.

We use the phone call and messaging function internally and externally. I currently use it when clients request a phone consultation, as well as when anyone needs to send a same day/ASAP message internally about an appointment. It's wonderful in theory because we can do everything in one spot, it has our contacts easily available, and I can use it both on my computer and phone.
  • Allows use on a variety of devices
  • Gives us multiple functions with one system: internal and external calls, messaging, and meetings
  • Gives immediate notification
  • Our biggest issue is dropped calls. This is particularly frustrating when talking to highly emotional clients
  • Randomly delayed receipt of text messages
  • Often, if we text from the computer, that communication does not appear on the phone app
  • Poor/spotty connections
I think if the 'bugs' were fixed, it's well suited in most company settings, particularly larger companies, where internal and external communications are a large portion of what they do. Such as ours. Again if improvements are made, I would recommend it to any company with remote workers, or multiple physical locations For very small companies with little remote work, I don't see it being as valuable. For example, where meeting in person, phone calls, e-mails suffice.
